Our Trip to the Zoo!

Last Tuesday we took our first family trip to the zoo! Chicago has a great zoo called the Lincoln Park Zoo that is free! The biggest hits were the baby chicks, the horse, the goat and the zebra. He was pretty confused by the zebra...it was pretty cute!

Jack is walking everywhere now! There really isn't a time during the day he chooses to crawl. It's so crazy to see our baby turn into a little person! He just walks around the house with his own agenda and is so independent. The best part is that he actually is becoming more snugly with this new found independence. He goes and does whatever he wants and then comes back to check in and get a hug...and then he's off again! We love it! He has never been one to cuddle so we are really enjoying every minute of it!

We didn't take a lot of pictures this week as we've all been sick with a bad cold...but here are a few that we did take!

I had him sitting on the counter while I gave him a few Teddy Grahams and he decided to really relax and enjoy himself!
